Camp Awesome, Grades 9-12

Awesome week is a unique experience for high school campers to explore the above and beyond West River has to offer.  Mornings filled with “awesome activities” like paddle competitions, Camp Olympics, scavenger hunts and more!  Evenings are filled with a chance for high schoolers to connect on a deeper faith level through a relevant and timely “second worship”.  All concluding with an all nighter with activities like “jungle pong”, glow in the dark 9-square, nighttime giant swing and more!

Our mission for Camp Awesome is to offer a camp experience where high schoolers build authentic relationships, grow deeply in their spiritual journey, and discover joy through creative and meaningful adventures. In order to achieve this mission we have decided to maintain our capacity for 60 campers. We anticipate registration to fill very quickly. However, new to 2026, we have created a structure which will hopefully create a more equitable opportunity for all grade levels. There will be two separate sections to register for Camp Awesome. One section for 9th and 10th graders and a second section for 11th and 12th graders. Though registration will be separate it is important to note these sections will still function as one camp group.
